This painting is an explosion of movement and colour, feeling maximalist and dreamlike. The way the giant red flowers (they look like zinnias or marigolds) seem to be growing out of her hair or swirling around her head creates a beautiful sense of surrealism. High-energy, botanical vibe, surreal and dreamy. Looking into her internal dreamscape rather than reality.
The way the mountain is broken down into stained-glass-like facets of colour makes it feel both ancient and modern. The tiny, detailed cluster of white yacht masts at the base in the marina —gives the massive peak an incredible sense of scale. A light architectural energy with the bold, triangular peak on the left acting like a focal point—it almost looks like a simplified cityscape or a series of blueprints overlapping in a dream. Architectural and structural the geometric outlines and that distinct "roof" shape make me think of buildings and maps.
While the previous piece felt like a swirling storm, this one has a very clear, rhythmic structure. The circular, sweeping motion of the white and light blue at the top creates the undeniable image of a breaking wave or a massive, rolling tide curl.

Striking blend of mountain "Maunga" and a water scape with a hidden, watchful presence. "Taniwha" is a powerful supernatural creature in Māori tradition that can be "monsters" but also guardians. The way the Taniwha eye is nestled into the snowy peaks of the mountain makes the entire landform feel alive. The Taniwha is the hidden guardian of this mountain. Narrative and illustrative, a bright pop of red against the monochromatic, vertical forest is incredibly striking. A scene pulled straight out of a modern fairy tale.
A sequel to the previous piece! Trading the cold, bright winter for a lush, mysterious twilight. The lamp post gives it a very strong "Narnia" or urban-fantasy feel—like a secret corner of a park that only appears at night.
Cosmic, celestial and mystical energy. Her face is framed by dark, stippled textures as she emerges from a winter frost. She has intense mesmerising honey-coloured eyes that draw you in. The amber eyes are so undeniably the soul of this piece.
