Art is so good for the soul because it allows us to express, reflect, and connect with emotions that words alone often cannot reach.
I have always been a creative person. My passion for art began early, and I pursued it enthusiastically during my school years until the fifth form. Then my parents insisted that I focus on obtaining my school certificate and steered me to study more conventional subjects for vocational purposes. Despite putting aside my art, I never lost my creative spark.
Life took an unexpected turn just over two years ago when my husband suffered a heart attack, necessitating a quadruple bypass surgery and leading to various complications. This tumultuous period spun my world on its axis, and in the midst of the chaos, I sought solace and sanity in painting once again. It was through this return to art that I felt I rediscovered myself and my true passion.
My renewed love for painting and all aspects of art has been nothing short of transformative.
I started painting representatively with acrylics, with a particular love for flowers. I love to explore, experiment, wonder and push myself out of my comfort zone, allowing my art to evolve into expressions of what I feel. This journey has led me to embrace a variety of subjects, styles, and mediums, each reflecting a different aspect of my creativity. I simply love art and creativity, and the way they make me feel, and I hope that you can sense my presence and passion in each piece I create.
